Marvel: 1985 #5 Review

1985 #5

1985 #5

This is so far my favorite issue of the series. The story is really coming together. We find the boy in the marvel universe trying to drum up support to go back and help his town. We see his dad step up to the plate. And at the end we see that Galactus is in town. As I was reading this book I could not help but put myself in the kids place. Though I did not start reading comics until about 1990. I do have some familiarity with the time period in the marvel universe and it was a real treat to see the avengers mansion and Jarvis. Then the Baxter building and then the dayly bulgle. To things happened to me as I was reading this. One I felt like that kid the neverending story wanting to be a part of the story. To I got a bit nostalgic for the more simpler marvel times. I wanted to jump right in with the kid to the marvel universe. I would love to see some new marvel stories set in the 80s written for our time. Anyway this book was the most fun I have had in a while.
